The Son is the dazzling radiance of God’s splendor, the exact expression of God’s true nature—his mirror image! He holds the universe together and expands it by the mighty power of his spoken word. He accomplished for us the complete cleansing of sins, and then took his seat on the highest throne at the right hand of the majestic One. (Hebrews 1:3 The Passion Translation).
SUNDAY, 1.23 – THE SUPREME JESUS
Because Jesus is supreme, reigning over all creation, I make a conscious decision to include Him in every part of my life in 2022 – He’s not simply a “Sunday affair,” but rather my whole life!
MONDAY, 1.24 – THE AWESOME JESUS
Because Jesus is awesome, in 2022 I declare, “Lord, my eyes are fixed on You. Wash my imagination of limitation every day, so that I may spend all my days in astonished awe of You!”
TUESDAY, 1.25 – THE BEAUTIFUL JESUS
Because Jesus is beautiful, I recognize that there is beauty all around me. He is the ultimate Creator, full of complexities and wonder. Because of my union with Him, His beauty is now my beauty. I am made in His image, wonderfully and marvelously – this my soul (my mind and my emotions) choose to dwell on each day in 2022.
WEDNESDAY, 1.26 – THE HUMAN JESUS
Because Jesus took on human form, how deeply I am able to trust Him. In 2022, there is nothing I may face that He doesn’t already know, understand, or sympathize with. I am not alone in my challenges or emotions that may accompany obstacles. Even when I walk through difficult moments, He is my comforter and guards my heart in every way, even redeeming these challenges as opportunities to mature me and prosper me.
THURSDAY, 1.27 – THE DIVINE JESUS
Because Jesus is divine, I renew my mind in 2022 to the truth that there is nothing impossible for Him. He is truly able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above and beyond anything I may ask, think or dream. And His divine power is residing in me, equipping me through His Holy Spirit to accomplish what may appear in the natural to be impossible.
FRIDAY, 1.28 – THE PREEMINENT JESUS
Because Jesus is preeminent, He is above all things, reigns over everything, and surpasses every other power in my world. Because of my union with Jesus, I have the very mind of Christ and choose not to be intimidated by any negative report that does not align with His promises of peace, protection, health and abundance. Because I am seated with Christ in heavenly places this world does not dictate my success, value or purpose. I walk in His divine favor in 2022.
SATURDAY, 1.29 – THE RIGHTEOUS JESUS
Because God made Jesus – the only one who did not know sin – to become sin for me, I am now the righteousness of God through my union with Jesus. In 2022 I refuse to succumb to a system of self-effort in attempt to gain God’s approval. Instead, I remind myself that I am totally and completely pleasing to God in Christ Jesus. I am in right standing with Him because of His undeserved, unearned, and unmerited grace and gift of righteousness. No longer do I work to achieve approval, I am now positioned and postured to receive every blessing provided for me at the cross.
SUNDAY, 1.30 – THE CONQUERING JESUS
Because Jesus conquered death, hell and the grave, I now share in His spoils of the life Jesus came to provide me. He did all the work and I get all the rewards. I walk in the same authority Jesus walked in, I have the same power residing in me that conquered every sickness and raised Jesus from the grave. In 2022 I live in abundance to the full, till it overflows. Because I am one with Christ, I am more than a conqueror.
MONDAY, 1.31 – THE JOYFUL JESUS
Because of all that Jesus accomplished for me and AS ME at the cross, I am a fountain of hope, full and overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace. I am the residence of the Holy Spirit who goes before me, follows after me and orders my steps with His super-abundance. In 2022, I radiate joy! I will be aware that I am a river of life and live in hilarity. I will laugh more, rejoice more and live a rich, joyful life!
TUESDAY, 2.1 – THE GENEROUS JESUS
Because Jesus is the embodiment of generosity, I can’t help but give out of the overflow of the abundance given to me. Jesus’ nature was that of a generous giver. He gave sight to the blind, health to the sick, peace to the anxious, acceptance to the rejected, and food to the hungry. Because I have been the recipient of both practical and spiritual blessings, I in turn look for opportunities to give with the most cheerful heart. In 2022 I recognize that I have been given the tools and power to prosper in order to expand the Kingdom of God.
