Galatians 2:20 (NIV)
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
2 Timothy 2:11
This is a faithful saying: For if we died with Him, We shall also live with Him.
For we know that our old self was crucified with Him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin.
As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us.
In him you were also circumcised with a circumcision not administered by human hands. The circumcision of Christ is realized in the stripping away of the whole self, dominated by sin.
Christ has set us free for freedom. Therefore, stand firm and don’t submit to the bondage of slavery again.
People who are self-centered aren’t able to please God.
But now we are released from the law, having died to that which held us captive, so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit and not in the old way of the written code.
There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
1 John 4:18
There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.
May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
“I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But be of good cheer! I have overcome the world.”
He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.
2 Corinthians 5:19
In other words, God was reconciling the world to himself through Christ, by not counting people’s sins against them. He has trusted us with this message of reconciliation.
When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins.
to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.
For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”
1 Corinthians 1:3
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.
When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.
But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who lives in you.
1 Corinthians 2:16
“For who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ.
2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; and look, all things have become new.
1 John 4:17
Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.
1 John 2:1
My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.
But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
2 Corinthians 5:14
For the love of Christ compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died.
1 John 3:1
See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.
You are all God’s children through faith in Christ Jesus.
Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
And my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
1 Peter 2:9
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for His own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies.
For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.
and be renewed in the spirit of your mind.
2 Peter 1:13
I think it’s right that I keep stirring up your memory, as long as I’m alive.
Don’t be conformed to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds so that you can figure out what God’s will is—what is good and pleasing and mature.
